The fastener combines two sides :
Gripping elements made of either hooks or mushrooms

HOOK AND LOOP FASTENERS

Fasteners made of hook gripping elements and loop surfaces offer a very high cycle with excellent performance characteristics. Depending on the material selected, the fastener can be used in a range of demanding environments (UV resistant, high temperature, flame retardant, etc).

Different materials : Nylon, Polyester, Aramid.
 Choice of colors
 Widths : from 5/8” to 4” (from 16 mm to 100 mm)
 Cycle life : From 2,000 to 10,000 openings and closings
 Self adhesive and heat solvent activated backings

MUSHROOM AND KNIT LOOP FASTENERS

Fasteners made of a mushroom gripping element and a knit loop, for applications requiring a thin closure with high gripping performance. Available in wide width up to 60” (1550 mm).

aplix® 500 FASTENING SYSTEM (Hook/Loop)

A fastening system made of both hook and loop on a single surface. The loop is higher than the hook providing a soft to the touch product without risk of unwanted gripping into other loop type material (such as clothing).
